Services
Some of the services that are available to Arkansas school administrators through membership in the AAEA are as follows:

Newsletters and Bulletins
The collection and dissemination of information pertinent to the membership of the organization is conducted at the state office for the AAEA located at 219 S. Victory in Little Rock. The Association publishes the Arkansas Administrator -- a monthly newsletter. The Association also publishes School Laws of Arkansas for members following each legislative session. Also, the Association publishes the School Law Review , The Instructional Leader and the AAEA Publication Service on a subscription basis. Several of the constituent groups also publish newsletters for their members. All are provided electronically.


Professional Development
The Association sponsors numerous state and regional conferences, workshops and electronic learning opportunities for the professional growth of its members. Travel and housing for national conferences are coordinated by the AAEA and its affiliated administrator associations.


Legislative Influence
The Association maintains contact with members of the Arkansas General Assembly and the U. S. Congress on legislative matters of interest to school administrators. During the Arkansas General Assembly, the AAEA attends and testifies before committees vital to education, conducts weekly briefings for members and maintains a daily update of legislative action on the AAEA web page.


Coordination With Other School-Related Organizations
The AAEA maintains contact and works cooperatively with other school-related state organizations dedicated to the improvement of educational programs.


Placement Assistance
The AAEA assists in administrator placement by disseminating to its membership a listing of administrative vacancies that exist within the state. The Association also provides an Online Jobsite Service.


Legal Services
The AAEA provides limited legal services to members on issues that cannot be appropriately handled by the local school district's attorney.
